Caleb Howard is a Director of Recruitment at Synergy Search, where he focuses on placing accounting and finance talent from the senior level through the executive ranks across Middle Tennessee and beyond. He brings a strong technical foundation from his early career in public accounting and corporate accounting, which gives him the credibility and insight to understand exactly what his clients need and what candidates are walking into.

Caleb began his career in public accounting, performing audits across a wide range of industries. He later joined a publicly traded organization in Nashville in a corporate accounting role that blended heavy analysis with close partnership alongside FP&A. Over four years he took on increasing responsibilities, led key projects, and built a reputation as someone who could solve problems and work effectively across the business.

He eventually realized that the part of his work he valued most was the relationship side. That led him into recruiting, where he has steadily expanded his book of business and built a trusted presence in the Middle Tennessee market. While he prefers to keep the spotlight off himself, his consistent performance, strong months, and growing client base speak for themselves.

Caleb is known for being candid, direct, and genuinely invested in the people he works with. He takes the time to understand what motivates his candidates, approaches searches with precision rather than volume, and gives clients honest guidance instead of easy answers. His goal is always the same: make the right match, protect the relationship, and act as a long term partner in someone’s career or hiring strategy.

He is a graduate of Western Kentucky University with a degree in Accounting and a minor in Finance.

Outside of work, Caleb is a husband and father of two young daughters. In the rare moments he gets free, he enjoys being in the gym, spending time outdoors, and following the Tennessee Titans and the University of Tennessee Vols.
