Kelly Matthews, CPA Director of Recruitment
Kelly Matthews, a graduate of University of Maryland, College Park and CPA, has almost a decade of experience in public accounting auditing and advisory services. The majority of her time at Deloitte and various firms was spent on advising technical accounting matters such as implementation of newly released accounting standards with a focus on public and private equity backed technology companies. Additionally, during her time at Deloitte, she assisted in the creation of technical trainings as well as overseeing the delivery of the trainings.
For Kelly, she found fulfillment in public accounting by working with smart, intelligent, and driven people and coaching junior colleagues. For her, the transition to recruiting felt like a natural path. Joining the Synergy Search, she hopes to help more professionals in their own career paths.
Outside of recruiting, Kelly enjoys teaching hot power yoga, renovating her home with her husband, and spending time with her family and Golden Retriever.
